Easy to Follow Tips-Prescription Contact Lenses

If you are one of those people who have to wear prescription glasses but do not like wearing them then prescription contact lenses is the right thing for you. They are easy to wear, light weight and can be worn for longer periods too.

When you visit your eye doctor, ask them to prescribe vision correction contact lenses for you. Once you become accustomed to them you won’t even realize that you are actually wearing them. Not only regular contacts but you could also wear Prescription coloured contact lenses whenever you wish.
Here are some tips that you should follow as you wear prescription lenses.
  • If you are wearing contact lenses for the first time it could be irritating for you. If they are cupped than they are worn the right way but if they are flaring out than they must be turned inside out.
  • Always wash your hands before wearing or handling the lenses because if you handle them with dirty hands than the dirt could scratch the lenses or irritate your eyes.
  • Carry the solution and lens case with you as you can wash the lenses anytime you wish to remove them and keep them safe in the case.
  • Do not wear the lenses while you are sleeping as oxygen would not be able to reach your eyes.
  • Do not in any case wear your contact lenses if they have crossed the expiry date.
  • Wear your own lenses and never borrow any other’s contacts for hygienic reasons.
